Ministries

At FaithBridge, we believe in reaching out to serve! Here are some of the ways we love and serve those in our community:

Children's Ministry

Children are welcome to remain in worship with their parents whenever their parents choose, but excellent Children's Ministry is always available during our worship services. Children birth through 3 years old are welcome to stay in our Sprouts Room during the service. Children 4 years old through 5th grade attend the opening music portion of worship, and then are invited to meet their teachers in the Lobby in order to participate in a craft and lesson which will teach them about the Bible and the Christian faith.

We offer two classes for these ages: Dragonflies (4 year olds through 2nd graders) and Kids On The Rock (3rd through 5th graders). Our volunteers are trained and follow the guidelines of our Safe Sanctuaries policy to keep our children safe. We also have special events for children through the year, including our Easter Eggstravaganza, our Trunk or Treat event, creative arts in worship, and mission projects. For more information, contact our Children's Ministry Director, Ashley Payne Cook, at 828-719-8228.

Prayer Ministry

Our Prayer Team organizes prayer to undergird our worship services and all of the ministries of our church. We have Prayer Partners who are ready to pray with worshipers each Sunday at the back of the auditorium, between the end of the sermon and the end of the worship service. We have Email Prayer Partners who receive weekly emails and are asked to pray for requests written down each Sunday morning. We also have special events for prayer such as Prayer Walks and Prayer Vigils on an occasional basis. For more information, contact Virginia Peurifoy by emailing prayer@faithbridgeumc.org .

Praise Band

Our Praise Band leads worship on Sunday morning through music. They sing and play musical instruments. If you are interested in learning more about serving by using your musical talent, contact Kyle Sigmon to schedule an audition at 828-265-7154.

Congregational Care Team

This team visits those are sick, hospitalized, lonely, shut in, or discouraged. They are trained to listen, care, and pray with those who are hurting. For more information, contact Sue Purser by emailing congregationalcare@faithbridgeumc.org .

They sponsor giveaways, publicity/advertising, and service opportunities to spread the love of God in practical ways. For more information about how to get involved in connecting with those who are not yet part of God's family called the church, contact Fran Mullally by emailing info@faithbridgeumc.org .
